Auburn was a low volume manufacturer which assembled cars using engines and components from established related U.S. proprietary auto component manufacturers.
Post 1927, Auburn produced their own chassis / body panels and exclusively used Lycoming Engines, Warner Muncie Gearboxes, Columbia Axels.
This car was found in the W.A. Wheatbelt as a bare chassis with firewall and motor block in place. Restored over a 7 year period, with many parts imported from the U.S.
The Speedster body incorporates some original panels and is a very accurate representation of how this car would have looked when purchased new from Auburn Cars (WA) Ltd of Hay Street Perth in late 1929.
